At 16:34 hours this evening, Taunton Ladder 5 was activated for a possible Multiple Occupancy Fire in the Solvay Fire District. Taunton Ladder 5 (LT. Duck) and Car 2 (D/C Harris) responded on the alarm. Ladder 5 and Car 2 arrived simultaneously with Solvay Engine 11. Units encountered a moderate smoke condition on the interior and located a small fire on the stovetop in one of the units. The fire was suppressed and the units, and surrounding hallways were ventilated. Taunton units cleared within the hour.
