Mutual aid to camillus: Structure Fire

At 07:11 hours this morning, Taunton was activated for a “move-up” to the Camillus Fire District, while they operated on a 2nd Alarm Residential Fire. Taunton Engine 4 (Captain Martin) handled the assignment. Engine 4 was subsequently relocated to the scene to the provide the R.I.T. assignment. Engine 4 was once again reassigned and “put to work”, being sent to the roof to vent and flow water into the attic. Taunton’s crew also assisted with extensive overhaul in the attic and 2nd floor. Engine 4 cleared the scene after approximately 3 hours.
While Engine 4 was operating in Camillus, Ladder 5 (Captain Rudiger), staffed in quarters, handled an in-district fire alarm. Ladder 5 remained staffed to cover calls for a majority of the western section while units were in Camillus.
