The alarm was immediately upgraded to a Second Alarm, and Ladder 5 was moved into the scene for manpower. Ladder 5’s crew of five volunteers arrived on the scene and conducted suppression efforts on the third floor and master streak operations, utilizing the elevated waterway from the aerial device. The fire subsequently reached a Third Alarm with the addition of a Tanker box.

 

Ladder 5’s crew worked tirelessly on the scene, assisting with suppression and overhaul, and ultimately cleared the scene around 01:15 hours.

 

Taunton Engine 4 remained staffed at Taunton Station 1 for the duration of the call.
