At 09:11 hours,  Taunton Fire was dispatched to the 1300 block of Grand Avenue for a reported motor vehicle accident involving two school buses.

Upon arrival, Car 1 (Chief Phelan) confirmed a collision involving both buses. There were no students on board either vehicle at the time of the incident. Two adult individuals sustained injuries as a result of the crash. One of the bus drivers was trapped and required extrication by responding personnel.

Taunton Ladder 5 (Lt. Williams) initiated patient care and performed extrication operations with assistance provided by Onondaga Hill Fire Department Engine 94. Both injured parties were treated on scene and transported for further medical evaluation.

All hazards were mitigated, and the scene was cleared without further incident.
