At 15:26 hours this afternoon, Taunton was activated for an Electrical Fire in the 4200 block of Fay Road.

Taunton Engine 4 (FF Bova) marked enroute on dispatch, along with Car 1 (Chief Phelan), Car 2 (D/C Harris), and Car 3 (A/C Martin).

Units encountered an actively arcing and sparking electrical panel in the basement of the residence. The immediate area was secured and upon arrival of National Grid, the power was secured without incident.

Units operated on scene for approximately 45 minutes before returning to service.
