Yesterday evening, Taunton was activated for a CO Alarm in the Breckenridge neighborhood of our “upper district.”

Ladder 5 (LT. Williams) and Engine 4 (FF Bova) handed the alarm, which ultimately turned out to be a faulty detector.

With that being said, our members operated as to prepare for anything. Engine 4 positioned “nose to nose” with Ladder 5 as to utilize the hydrant just past the residence while Ladder 5 deployed the aerial to the roof of the residence.

The “smells and bells” calls are the perfect opportunity for our members to continuously get the reps in, and focus on eliminating complacency.
