Taunton Fire Department Mutual Aid to Tully MVC 81S

At 14:20 hours this afternoon, Taunton Engine 94 was requested mutual aid to the Tully Fire District (I-81).

Tully and mutual aid units had a 20-40 vehicle “pile up” on both the southbound and northbound lanes, with multiple patients, and a vehicle on fire.

Taunton Engine 94 (Captain Taylor) & Car 1 (Chief Phelan) handled the alarm. Taunton units arrived and were tasked with clearing vehicles and assisting patients to triage.

Taunton units operated on scene for approximately 30 minutes, and were then requested to standby at the Nedrow firehouse to provide coverage for the Southern section of the county.
Engine 94 & Car 1 stood by at Nedrow for another 30 minutes before being cleared and returning to our own district.
