At 19:36 hours this evening, Taunton units were dispatched to a 79 possible (crash detection) in the 4500 block of Onondaga Boulevard. The call was quickly updated to a confirmed Signal 80 involving 2 vehicles.
Taunton Car 3 (A/C Martin), Ladder 5 (FF Georgiadis), and Engine 6 (LT. Williams) responded.
Car 3 arrived first, finding a head-on collision taking up the west bound lanes. Ladder 5 and Engine 6 arrived shortly after, and went to work stabilizing the vehicles and providing patient care.
AMR handled the transport of all patients and OSCO also assisted on scene.
Units operated on scene for just over a half an hour before returning to service.
